Hello there! I'm Lukas, a PhD student at the University of British Columbia with a deep-seated curiosity for a myriad of subjects. My academic and professional pursuits span:

When not engaged in my studies or coding, you can find me backpacking through nature, exploring the vast world of music, or on a quest for new knowledge.
Academic Focus
My research specializes in exploring the health and vigour of sugar maples (Acer saccharum) using intra-canopy drone-based photogrammetry. My work specifically works on developing the workflows and algorithms required to reconstruct and analyze fully colorized point clouds, following mechanistic modelling approaches.
