Hello, I’m Hayden.
I am a software engineer focused on experimental computer graphics R&D. I currently work at a startup where I am designing and implementing an experimental renderer. My work centers on novel photorealistic spectral rendering, material authoring and pipelines, as well as advanced CGI/VFX techniques.
I am particularly interested in problems that span domains and favor unconvential thinking. Those problems allow me to utilize ideas from multiple unrelated topics and integrate them into robust solutions.
Primary areas of interest:
• Photorealistic Rendering: Physically-based rendering models, spectral light transport, and advanced shading pipelines
• CGI/VFX R&D: Experimental rendering and simulation techniques, performance-oriented design
